Nanamica is a Japanese clothing label producing high quality ready to wear, outerwear, and tailored apparel. The foundations of Nanamica stemmed from their use of Japanese homegrown fabrics, and by also collaborating with Gore-Tex to produce technically advanced textiles. Gore-Tex hold the trademark for a revolutionary water-resistant yet breathable membrane used in waterproof fabrics for outerwear.
With 4 stores located in Japan already, Nanamica plan to go international with a prospective fifth store opening in New York later this year. Their store fit-outs are minimal, choosing a mix of traditional Japanese timber for shelves and skirting, contrasted by bold exposed concrete and steel beams. With plenty of natural light and a selection of indoor plants their space is warm and welcoming for their customers.
